RESTORE THE FLORA
Spadefoot nursery supplies native plants, domestic edible crops, and botanical curiosities. Our main emphasis is growing and supplying native plants. We encourage you to plant around 80% native or more. We also encourage you to get to know the native flora by studying, and spending time in wild areas (respectfully). Also learn to identify invasive weeds—to not plant them, and replace them with the plants that evolved here. Native plants are important because they evolved with the native fauna.
Your Backyard is
a wildlife corridor
We encourage you to treat your landscape like a wildlife corridor, and to create safe spaces for wildlife to exist. We never use pesticides or synthetic fertilizers, and we run our nursery from an ecological perspective, not agricultural. You can meet your landscape and gardening needs while providing for wildlife—we will help you.
